How do I get my speakers to play at the same time as my USB microphone?
I have MINT wireless speakers that are fully functional. The only problem is, when i have my Samson G-Track microphone plugged into a different USB, the speakers stop playing sound. I can record just fine, but I can't hear what I am recording, and i certainly can't hear anything coming from my computer until I unplug the microphone.
It sounds like your computer is muting your speakers when the mic is active, so as not to get feedback. Open mics near active speakers will cause a feedback squeal that is very unpleasant. In theory it should only mute the speakers when the mic is in record mode. Also the USB mic and wireless speakers will both have some processing delay, so if you were to hear what was being said in to the mic, the delay would be somewhat disorienting.
