Ah, music! Music is life, some say, and it's definitely been my life.

I started playing piano at 6, and grew into a professional keyboardist, songwriter, producer and performing musician with many published songs and band/album appearances to my credit. I saw the Beatles in person on September 14th, 1964 at the Baltimore Civic Arena (yes, I am that old!), and it changed my life. I knew I wanted to be a pro performing musician. Over the years I worked with or for some of the finest stars in the musical sky, including Elton John, Dave Brubeck, Harry Connick Jr., Dan Fogleberg, Richard Carpenter and so many more.

For some people who love to listen to the radio or their iPod, perhaps always having it on in the background of whatever their doing, music forms a soundtrack for their daily activities. But for those of us who caught the music bug early on and have always been in some kind of band, or hearing our next composition playing in our heads each day, or been unable to wait for our next gig, music is more than just a soundtrack, it's like our breath.

And of course, we all have spent countless hours in places like Guitar Center, Sam Ash, or an independent music dealer, testing out drums, trying out the coolest patches & samples on the latest keyboards, or pulling down another sunburst beauty off the wall hangers and plugging it into some Marshall stack, blowing back everyone's hair in the store.
